Terms and Conditions for Use of Vehicles property of Valley Limousines

Responsibilities of the Hirer

The driver has the right to terminate the hire without refund if the hirer or any member of the party is in breach, or is likely to breach any of the sub-clauses specified below:

  1. Drug use is prohibited by law
  2. Underage drinking is prohibited by law
  3. All passengers are required by law to wear seatbelts
  4. Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle
  5. Consumption of food is not permitted in the vehicle without previous arrangement with the company
  6. Sitting on the exterior of the vehicle is not permitted
  7. Vehicle must not be beyond seating capacity
- Hirer assumes full liability for loss of damage to the company's property provided in the vehicle, including but not limited to, glassware, remote controls and sound system equipment.

- Hirer assumes full liability for any damage to either the interior or exterior of the vehicle caused by the hirer or a member of the party.

- Hirer is liable to pay any fines imposed as a consequence of the hirer or the party failing to comply with legal requirements.


Liability

Company is not liable for circumstances beyond the company's control, including but not limited to weather, road and traffic conditions and mechanical breakdown. Overtime charges will apply in these circumstances.

In the event that the vehicle is involved in an accident or mechanical breakdown and is no longer safe to drive, the company will make alternative arrangements at its descretion. No claim can be made against the company arising from the alternative arrangement.

Valley Limousine's is not liable for any loss, consequential or otherwise as a result of a failure to arrive at the destination on time or at all.

Hirer holds the company harmless of any liability for any personal or material damage arising from the conduct of the hirer or the party.

To the extent permitted by law, liabilty of the company, whether in full or in part, under the terms of this agreement is limited to the cost of the hire.


Other Conditions

In the event that the hirer is a business/company then that business/company shall assume the responsibility of the hirer and will be bound to advise the party of the terms and conditions of the hire.

If anything in this agreement is unenforceable, illegal or void then it is severed and the rest of this agreement remains in force.

An amendment or variation to this agreement is not effective unless it is in writing and signed by the hirer or the company's representative.

Valley Limousine's reserves the right to change any part of this agreement at any time without prior notice. Changes to the agreement will be effective when notice of such change is conveyed to the hirer.
